📶 Products & Compatibility

WiFi 6 (802.11ax) delivers speeds up to 9.6 Gbps and significantly improved performance in congested environments with many devices. It's the current mainstream standard and compatible with all modern devices.

WiFi 7 (802.11be) is the latest generation, offering speeds up to 46 Gbps, lower latency, and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) which lets devices connect across multiple bands simultaneously. WiFi 7 is ideal for 8K streaming, competitive gaming, and large smart homes with 100+ devices.

For most homes, WiFi 6 provides excellent performance. If you have a very large home, heavy gaming requirements, or many high-bandwidth devices, WiFi 7 is worth the upgrade.

A mesh WiFi system uses multiple nodes (small routers) placed around your home to create a single, seamless network. Unlike traditional WiFi extenders, mesh nodes communicate with each other intelligently so your devices always connect to the strongest node as you move.

You likely need a mesh system if:

  • Your home is over 2,000 sq ft
  • You have 2+ floors
  • You experience dead zones in certain rooms
  • You have thick concrete or brick walls

A single router is usually sufficient for apartments and small homes under 1,500 sq ft with an open floor plan.

Yes. ConnectSphere routers and mesh systems are compatible with all major US internet service providers including Comcast Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox, AT&T, Verizon, Mediacom, CenturyLink, and Optimum.

Our routers connect directly to your existing cable or fiber modem using a standard Ethernet cable. If you use a modem/router combo from your ISP, you simply plug into the ISP device's LAN port, or replace it entirely with one of our modem + router bundles.

It depends on the model:

  • AX1500 Dual Band: Up to 30 devices
  • WiFi 7 Mesh Router: Up to 50 devices simultaneously
  • Whole Home WiFi 6 Mesh: Up to 75 devices
  • WiFi 6 Dual SIM AX3000: 75+ devices with enterprise-grade performance

These numbers refer to simultaneous active connections. Devices that are connected but idle do not significantly affect performance.

Not necessarily. ConnectSphere routers and mesh systems work with any existing cable modem (DOCSIS 3.0 or 3.1). Your modem connects to the wall and our router connects to your modem.

However, we recommend replacing your ISP rental modem if it's older than 3 years or is a DOCSIS 3.0 model, as it may be bottlenecking your speeds. Our Cloud Monitoring WiFi Modem is a great all-in-one option that eliminates the ISP rental fee.

The 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch is a wired networking device that expands your network with 24 Ethernet ports, all supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE+). This means it can power compatible devices — such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and smart home hubs — directly through the Ethernet cable, with no separate power adapter needed.

It's ideal for home offices, small businesses, or advanced home setups where you want dedicated wired connections for maximum speed and reliability.

💳 Orders & Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and any other payment options displayed at checkout. All transactions are encrypted and processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment providers. We do not store your full card number.

Orders can be modified or cancelled before they are shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled but can be returned under our Refund Policy.

To request a change or cancellation, contact us immediately at support@connectsphere.online or 818-659-5108 with your order number.

Yes. You will receive an order confirmation email at the address provided at checkout within a few minutes of placing your order. This email includes your order number, a summary of items ordered, your shipping address, and the estimated delivery date.

If you don't receive a confirmation within 30 minutes, please check your spam/junk folder or contact us at support@connectsphere.online.

Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address and applicable state and local tax laws. The exact amount will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. ConnectSphere collects and remits all applicable sales tax as required by law.

🚚 Shipping & Delivery

Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all US orders over $99 within the contiguous 48 states. Orders under $99 incur a flat $7.99 shipping fee.

Expedited (2–3 business days) is $14.99 and Next Day is $29.99, available on all order sizes. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Once shipped:

  • Standard Shipping: 5–8 business days
  • Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days
  • Overnight / Next Day: Next business day

Delivery estimates do not include the processing time. Orders placed before 2:00 PM PT on business days typically ship the same day.

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a direct link to track your package on the carrier's website (UPS, FedEx, or USPS).

Tracking information may take up to 24 hours after shipment to become active on the carrier's system. If you have any concerns after 48 hours, contact us at support@connectsphere.online.

First, check around all entry points of your home — carriers sometimes leave packages behind bins, gates, or with neighbors. Also check with other household members.

If it's still missing after 24 hours, contact your local carrier with your tracking number. If unresolved after 3 business days, email us at support@connectsphere.online with your order number and we'll investigate with the carrier on your behalf.

↩️ Returns & Refunds

We offer a 30-day return window from the delivery date for most items. Products must be returned in original, unused condition with all original packaging and accessories.

To initiate a return, contact us at support@connectsphere.online to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. See our full Refund Policy for complete details.

Once we receive your return, we inspect it within 2–3 business days. After approval:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days
  • Credit to your original payment method takes an additional 3–5 business days

You'll receive an email notification at each step of the process.

We're sorry to hear that! Contact us within 5 business days of delivery at support@connectsphere.online with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a free return shipping label and send a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.

Items that have been installed, configured, or registered with the manufacturer are generally not eligible for a full refund under our change-of-mind return policy. However, if the product is defective, we will work with you regardless of whether it was opened or set up.

⚙️ Setup & Technical Support

Setup takes about 10 minutes:

  • Step 1: Connect the main router/node to your modem using the included Ethernet cable, then plug in the power adapter.
  • Step 2: Download the ConnectSphere app (iOS or Android) and follow the guided in-app setup. Scan the QR code on the bottom of the device when prompted.
  • Step 3: Name your network and set a password. The app will confirm when setup is complete.

For mesh systems, place satellite nodes in rooms that need coverage after completing the initial setup. The app will guide node placement for optimal coverage.

Try these steps in order:

  • Run a speed test at fast.com while connected directly to your modem (bypassing the router) to confirm your ISP is delivering the expected speed.
  • Restart your modem and router: unplug both, wait 30 seconds, plug in the modem first, wait 60 seconds, then plug in the router.
  • Check that the Ethernet cable between your modem and router is securely connected. Try a different cable if available.
  • In the ConnectSphere app, check for firmware updates — ensure your router is running the latest version.
  • If speeds are still slow, contact us at support@connectsphere.online for further diagnostics.

ConnectSphere routers receive automatic firmware updates when connected to the internet. Updates are typically applied overnight when network usage is low.

To manually check for and apply an update, open the ConnectSphere app, navigate to Settings → My Network → Firmware Update. If an update is available, tap "Update Now." Keep the router powered on during the update (approximately 3–5 minutes).

To factory reset, locate the reset pinhole on the back or bottom of the device. With the router powered on, insert a straightened paperclip and hold for 10 seconds until the LED flashes. The router will restart with factory default settings.

Note: A factory reset erases all custom settings including your WiFi name, password, and port forwarding rules. You'll need to set up the router again from scratch.

Yes. ConnectSphere routers are compatible with all standard smart home ecosystems including Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit (via Matter), SmartThings, and Philips Hue. They support all standard 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz devices.

For IoT-heavy setups, we recommend creating a dedicated IoT network in the ConnectSphere app — this isolates smart home traffic from your main network for improved security and performance.

🛡️ Warranty & Coverage

All ConnectSphere products include a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. This covers hardware failures not caused by physical damage, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.

To make a warranty claim, email us at support@connectsphere.online with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage from drops, spills, or accidents
  • Damage caused by misuse or unauthorized modifications
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from power surges (we recommend using a surge protector)
  • Products with removed or altered serial numbers
  • Software issues not caused by defective firmware

Yes. The 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects even after the 30-day return window has passed. Contact us at support@connectsphere.online to open a warranty claim. We typically respond within 1 business day and will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.

🔒 Account & Privacy

No, you can check out as a guest without creating an account. However, creating a free account lets you track orders, view order history, manage returns, and save shipping addresses for faster future checkouts.

Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email from us. You'll be removed from our mailing list within 10 business days. Note that you will still receive transactional emails related to your orders (confirmations, tracking, receipts) even after unsubscribing from marketing.

Email us at support@connectsphere.online with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records (such as tax and order data for 7 years).
